Transport from Malta International Airport
We know planning can become a little complicated when there's more than one route to think about, so we're always on hand to help you any way we can. To make things a little easier for you, we can arrange a taxi to collect you on your arrival at Malta International Airport.
This taxi will cost €35 and takes approximately 45 minutes to arrive at the Gozo Channel.
Upon your arrival at the Gozo Channel you will board the ferry by foot where you can enjoy the charming 20 minute crossing to Gozo (schedules are available at Gozochannel.com).
Prices for the ferry crossing are €4.65 per adult passenger and €1.15 per child passenger. You pay on the return journey to Malta, not on the journey to Gozo.
When you arrive in Gozo we can have a car waiting for you for €15 to bring you to Country Views Bed and Breakfast.
If you're an enthusiastic organiser and want to arrange the transfers your own way, there are other options you can consider. As well as taxis and coaches, there are the buses. Buses are a very cheap, reliable mode of transport in Malta and Gozo and would cost around €1.50 to €2 each trip, each way.
The bus from the airport to the ferry terminal Malta is X1 and takes approximately 70min
The bus from the ferry terminal Gozo to bus terminus Victoria is 301 and takes approximately 15min
Upon your arrival in Gozo please contact us if you use bus service, we can then arrange a time to meet you in Victoria at the bus terminal and guide you to Country Views Bed and Breakfast (alternatively you can easily locate us on Google Maps).
From there we can provide you with any additional information you may require and will gladly be on hand to help with anything we can for the duration of your stay.
RENT- A -CAR
Lastly there's car hire which is available from around €40 per day (if you arrange this in advance); this option would enable you to drive the whole trip including the crossing on the ferry.
Please contact us if you would like a detailed map of the area which we can send by email.
We hope this information has been useful.
